Accessibility Statement
Eighteen Webs Design Studio does not guarantee that this website is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, or any other federal, state, or local accessibility law or regulation. Web accessibility is an ongoing process. While we make continuous good-faith efforts to improve accessibility, no website can guarantee 100% compliance at all times. This statement is not a legal certification of ADA compliance and should not be construed as such.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on this website, please contact us immediately at daniel@eighteenwebs.com or (848) 459-5275. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the information or service you need through an alternative means while we address the issue.
Eighteen Webs Design Studio is committed to making good-faith, ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of our website for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to digital content and services.
Our commitment includes continuously reviewing and improving our website, promptly addressing accessibility issues reported to us, and applying current best practices to all new content and features we develop.
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We use these guidelines as our benchmark for accessibility improvements. However, targeting these guidelines does not guarantee full conformance at all times.
WCAG 2.1 is organized around four principles — content must be:
- Perceivable — information must be presentable in ways all users can perceive
- Operable — interface components must be operable by all users
- Understandable — information and operation must be understandable
- Robust — content must be interpretable by current and future assistive technologies
As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, we work to:
- Include accessibility considerations in our web design and development process
- Use proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3) for logical content hierarchy
- Provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Ensure keyboard navigability throughout the site
- Use ARIA labels and landmarks where appropriate
- Ensure all form fields have properly associated labels
- Design for mobile accessibility with adequate tap target sizes
- Use semantic HTML elements for proper document structure
- Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second
- Provide visible focus indicators for keyboard users
- Regularly review and test our site for accessibility barriers
Note: These efforts represent our current practices and do not constitute a guarantee of full accessibility compliance.
We acknowledge the following known limitations on our website:
- Third-party content — embedded content such as Google Maps, YouTube videos, and social media widgets may not fully meet accessibility standards. These are controlled by external providers and are outside our direct control.
- Third-party plugins — certain functionality built with third-party WordPress plugins may have accessibility limitations we cannot fully control.
- PDF documents — older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to update these on an ongoing basis.
- User-generated content — content submitted by third parties may not meet our accessibility standards.
We are actively working to address these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.
We work to ensure compatibility with the following assistive technologies, though we cannot guarantee full compatibility with all configurations:
- Screen readers — NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation — full site navigation without a mouse
- Browser zoom — content is designed to remain usable at up to 200% zoom
- High contrast mode — compatible with Windows High Contrast settings
- Voice control software — compatible with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and similar tools
This Accessibility Statement is provided to document our good-faith efforts to improve web accessibility. Compuzone Advanced Technology Solutions LLC / Eighteen Webs Design Studio expressly disclaims any warranty of full accessibility compliance.
We make ongoing, good-faith efforts to comply with the ADA, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD), and other applicable accessibility requirements. These efforts include maintaining this statement, providing an accessible feedback mechanism, and committing to respond to and remediate reported accessibility barriers.
The existence of this Accessibility Statement, our documented efforts, and our commitment to respond to accessibility complaints are all elements of our good-faith compliance posture under applicable law.
